Mr. Anderson earned his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California in 1975 and has been practicing law ever since.

Mr. Anderson began his legal career 45 years ago working for himself in an office space provided by his two mentors, retired Judge James W. Edson, and retired Judge James P. Zarifes.

Mrs. Norman has been working at The Law Office of John T. Anderson since she was sixteen. She attended Western State University College of Law in California where she earned both her B.S. in Law and her Juris Doctorate degrees. While at Western State, Mrs. Norman completed the Emphasis Program in Taxation, was a Special Projects Editor for the school's Law Review program, and was a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, International.

John Jr. is Mr. Anderson’s youngest child and an attorney. John Jr. graduated magna cum laude from California State University Long Beach ("CSULB") with a B.S. in Business/Finance. While at CSULB, he was on the President's and Dean's Honor Rolls and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society. John Jr. then went on to attend Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California and graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctorate degree. At Western State, John Jr. was a technical editor of the school's Law Review, a member of the Dean's Honors Circle, and a member of the school's Honor Roll. John Jr. also received "Witkin" Awards (the award presented to the student with the highest grade in an individual course) in Trial Practice, Constitutional Law II, Professional Skills I, and Contracts Drafting.

John Jr. is committed to giving back. He is the current President and has served as a board member since 2017 for the Children's Dental Health Clinic, a non-profit organization in Long Beach that delivers comprehensive dental care to economically disadvantaged youth. Since 2019, John has served as a member of the Board of Directors of "Why'd You Stop Me" (WYSM), a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce acts of violence between the police and the community. John also serves on a scholarship selection committee for a local community foundation.

Daphne Carroll-Pollack

Daphne Carroll-Pollack joined The Law Office of John T. Anderson as Mr. Anderson’s Legal Assistant in 2012. Daphne has been a wonderful addition to our staff. Daphne received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from California State University Long Beach in 1991. Daphne comes to our office with a background handling California trust administration, guardianship, conservatorship, and estate planning matters.

If you have recently lost a love one and are now involved with the administration of your loved-one’s trust, or if you are involved with the California conservatorship or guardianship process, you will likely be working with Daphne on a regular basis. Daphne has administered hundreds of trusts in California and has helped resolve numerous complex estate planning and elder law matters. Her years of experience are an indispensable resource to clients and our office.
